HAIR STRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS

Shampooing serves the purpose of cleansing, while the other products introduced after shampooing will treat and replenish the hair structure depending on its requirements.

1) CONDITIONING

Conditioners maintain hydration and restore hair to its natural condition.

2) CONDITIONERS WITH SUPERFICIAL ACTION

These conditioners are formulated to carry out a quick conditioning action and can have a liquid, creamy or gel consistency. They restore shine, brilliance, silky softness leaving hair easy to comb. This type of conditioner acts on the hair surface and helps close the cuticle scales. Its filling action on the damaged areas is purely cosmetic and it protects the hair structure from the harmful effects of blow-drying and flat-ironing.

3) LEAVE-IN CONDITONERS

Leave-in conditioners are both versatile and complete, they carry out a dual action as they condition and restructure. This type of conditioner acts within the cortex, its chemical action is similar to the products that condition and restructure but its duration is shorter. As leave-in conditioners film the hair structure and are easy to rinse off they are ideal as pre-perm and pre-bleach treatment or for detangling before cutting.

4) RESTRUCTURING PRODUCTS

Formulated to be absorbed within the cuticle to improve and strengthen the internal structure of hair that has been stressed by chemical treatments. All restructuring products contain hydrating substances, amino acids and vitamins in the form of hydrolized proteins which are easy for the hair structure to absorb. Restructuring products penetrate within the cortex to create a chemical bond with the damaged hair structure, or, in badly damaged structures, a new bond. A second phase takes place when the cutilce scales are closed in order to capture the conditioning substances and prevent further damage. Restructuring products guarantee to increase inner strength and leave hair easy to comb.
